Shoe Drive for Every Child Oregon
Partnering with Sybil Fontaine of WFG Title, we hosted a shoe drive to benefit Every Child Oregon, a nonprofit supporting foster kids across the state. Our goal was simple but powerful—to provide new athletic shoes so kids could head into the school year feeling confident and ready to play sports. The community rallied, and together we collected hundreds of pairs of brand-new shoes. Watching boxes fill up with sneakers of every color and size reminded us how much can happen when people come together for a cause. Those shoes didn’t just provide comfort—they opened doors for kids to run, play, and fully participate in the activities they love.

Bingo fundraiser
Sometimes making an impact can be as fun as it is meaningful. We hosted a lively Bingo Night at Tumwater Vineyard to raise funds for the Alzheimer’s Association and support our local Home Instead walk team. The room was packed with neighbors, friends, and supporters—all laughing, playing, and bidding on prizes. By the end of the night, we had raised a significant donation for the Alzheimer’s Association, proving that community events can create joy and change lives.

Be a Santa to a Senior
One of the most heartwarming projects we’ve been part of was the Be a Santa to a Senior (BASTA) program with Home Instead. During the holiday season, we collected over 600 gifts for seniors in our community—many of whom might not have otherwise received anything for Christmas. Volunteers gathered for a wrapping party, turning the room into a sea of ribbons, bows, and festive paper. Together, we wrapped and delivered those gifts, spreading cheer and connection to seniors who deserve to feel seen and celebrated. It was a reminder that kindness, no matter how small, can brighten someone’s entire holiday.

Paint Night with a lender
We teamed up with Christine Lassiter, a local lender, to host a fun and creative Paint Night for the community. The goal was simple—to connect with potential clients and neighbors in a relaxed, inspiring setting. The evening was a huge success! Everyone left with their own beautiful canvas, new friendships, and plenty of laughs. Beyond the fun, it also created real business opportunities—Christine even gained new clients from the event. It was the perfect reminder that when you combine creativity, connection, and community, great things happen.

Networking Happy Hours
For Blake & Alder Property Management, I had the joy of planning and executing a series of happy hours designed to bring people together. These events weren’t just casual get-togethers—they became powerful networking opportunities, uniting professionals from a variety of industries. Each happy hour sparked new collaborations and referral partnerships, strengthening the local business community in ways that continue today. It’s proof that sharing a drink and conversation can lead to lasting connections and meaningful growth.
